for all you non-prop fans, this is from the ASAP GB boards. not any new info, though……

“All I know is that Danny called into one of my local Seattle Radio Stations on Friday. I heard a repeate of it this morning. He was Promoting his new CD. A call asked about a GB3 film and Danny's responce is that it will not happen. He also said the reason is that there are some ”leagle issues“. He did not go into any more detail then that

But he does rate GB as his Second Fav. Movie. His first was Blues Brothers, then GB, then third was Trading Places, Then forth was Driving Miss. Daisy.”

Its like a curse almost. Its almost sad, i hate to hear these things about him, goes for one thing and then gets asked about GB3 over and over, really sad.

he should make a blues brothers movie with just him and jim. AND FILM IT IN CHICAGO NOT TORONTO. and dont kiddify the film again by lowering the rating. the flim needs to be darker this time too. make it blend in with the original. also id like to see elwood deal with his loss of jake like in the original 2k script that universal butchered. it should be a gutsier film.

why dont they make both? who cares if the critics are going to whine about it. theres some people like me whod love to see it happen.

ghostbusters 3 would be good. whereas with blues brothers they end up getting these incredibly long prison sentences, you can do a lot more with ghostbusters because they are always at work and they dont spend 18 years in prison between episodes.
