Yeah, I doubt the original will ever turn up now, sadly. I'd truly love to read it. I feel the same way about the original BTTF script where the time machine was a fridge.

Whilst unlikely, it isn't impossible that a crap script could be filmed. Uwe Boll has set a standard in that regard.
GB3 has to go through a LOT more channels of approval than your ordinary, average film. pretty much every rights-holder has said that if the script isn't up to snuff, it won't go forward.

I'm betting that Aykroyd and Ramis will be putting a little more effort into the GB3 script polish than the video game script. they're in way more control over the story for the film than the video game… and the film script won't be anywhere near the length of the video game script.

As for Aykroyd's original script, given how long ago that was, I mean we're talking 1982-1983ish, I highly doubt that a copy of something that was probably only ever typed on a typewriter will make it onto the internet. It would be cool to read, but again, I highly doubt that's ever making it into anyone's hands.
i'm not sure why you think that… tons of old film scripts written on typewriters made their way online. aykroyd's original spec script is out there… i don't have it, but i'm pretty certain it still exists. fingers crossed that it pops up someday.

The year and date of when a script was typed doesn't really matter. The script for Rocky, which was written in like 76 is online, and of course Stallone would of typed that on a type writer. The script is actually got some significant differences from the final film, just like the Ghostbusters filming script. So when it was written isn't really an issue, it's if anyone has the script and is willing to make a digital copy of it.
