On Saturday, April 24, 2010, the Arizona Ghostbusters made their 3rd appearance at the annual Phoenix Diabetes Expo held in the Phoenix Convention Center. This was the first time the Ecto has been on display there and also it's first time inside a hall. We were given two 10 x 10 booth locations by the expo and the Ecto still did not entirely fit in the spot. Our main purpose at the Expo is to sign up participants for the Step Out To Fight Diabetes Walks we attend in the fall. We passed out our posters, info pamphlets, sugar free “ghost” candies, and buttons. At the booth we set up a flat screen television to show our new slideshow reel with all of our TV appearances and interviews spliced in. We ran into many familiar faces from previous events and expos and made contact with many other charities. It was a great event and we had a blast.

Looks like a great time had by all and for a great cause!

On a side note, I never get tired of looking at pictures of the AZ Ecto!

It was. There were two other Buster teams in the country out at charity events too on Saturday we were happy to find out.

It takes my breath away every time I see it still. It's out for a TV interview right now.

It's out for a TV interview right now.

I hope it doesn't start going on about ‘aching shock absorbers’ or ‘broken brakes’ or anything.:p

Nope, she was just in the background, she'll get the spotlight Friday with the 25ft Stay-Puft balloon near her. If she could talk, I'm sure she already has a ton of stories.
