On Friday March 5th, 2010, the Arizona Ghostbusters hosted a fundraising booth for the upcoming Muscular Dystrophy Assocation (Jerry's Kids) Stride and Ride we're participating in on March 27th. This was done by selling shamrocks for photos with our team. Our booth was at the monthly 1st Friday Art Walk in downtown Phoenix.

Later in the evening AmandaAnn brought Haley by in uniform to hang out with us for awhile before they leave town. Chuck loaned her his RGB pack for the evening. I believe she posed for more photos than we did. The local comic con was having a promotional cosplay event down the street so we were frequented by many other costumers throughout the evening.

The Art Walk is one of our favorite and regular events. We have definitely become a mainstay at it. It was a blast as always. We raised just under $200 for the MDA.

In regard to the mainstay comment, you could always mention that little tidbit you detailed in the PM you sent to me.

This photo log stands as proof that the next generation of geeks is being raised right.

Oh to tell the whole story would take too long. I'll just leave it as everyone knows we set up there and the police, property owner, and art walk organizers make sure we set up with no problems, if there is, they take care of it immediately. If we don't set up there, we're certainly missed. One of the many local paper stories on us almost didn't happen because they went there to interview us and we didn't appear that month, naturally they thought we didn't exist anymore till they checked our website. It's our second home and we certainly realize more and more we have the whole city behind us. From all of our events, press exposure, and word of mouth, we're certainly local legends. We all get recognized somewhere every week. It's an odd feeling, especially the whole getting asked for autographs thing.
