On Halloween 2009, the Arizona Ghostbusters helped out at the Phoenix Symphony's Trick Or Treat Concert. The concert was aimed at families and featured many pre-show activities like a costume contest and instrument petting zoo. Our team mingled with crowds in the lobby for pictures and passed out AZGB stickers. It ended up being a full house for the concert. The finale of the concert was the Ghostbusters theme. Our team came through the audience doing the RGB dance and then up onto stage. The conductor wore a different costume for each song and was naturally a ghost during the finale. At the conclusion of the song we chased him off stage and reappeared with a trap. Though they were playing a fully instrumental version of the song, the crowd was still singing along the whole time. It was awesome. Unfortunately we couldn't get pics inside the concert hall but here's some from the lobby. The event was also the debut of Matt Sremaniak's Slime Blower. He has been building it the last several months with Todd and Neal.
On Thursday and Friday night before Halloween the team appeared at the local Phantom Manor Haunted House that collected funds for Habitat for Humanity. I'll have pics from those two nights soon. The Friday night appearance was the first official event outing with the Ecto-AZ.
