On Saturday October 25th, 2008, the Arizona Ghostbusters set up a booth at the International Horror & Sci-Fi Film Festival in Chandler, AZ. We collected donations for our MS Walk team by selling Twinkies, Stay-Puft Marshmallows, pictures with our team, and John (JackIvyGb) did caricature drawings as well. The drawings proved to be very popular. Later in the evening we helped judge the costume contest.

After the film festival we stopped by a community Halloween festival held in the same park as the Relay for Life we recently participated in. We were a big hit with the children and adults. We went through the haunted maze but no one tried scaring us. I guess everyone knows we ain't afraid of no ghosts. We didn't get many pics but we did run into a girl with an awesome Stay-Puft costume. She used real marshmallows on her fingers. We hope she joins us for more events. We participated in the costume contest which we only do once a year. We won 1st place. We got gift certificates for a nearby restaurant which we immediately used because we were quite famished at that point in the evening. Another full day but worth it.

Ran into some White House hopefuls at the costume contest. They won 3rd.

Well what can you say? AZ GB's have taste.

The work y'all are doing is great though. And I imagine you get a great response for the charity fundraising.

Yeah people respond to us well. Everyone loves Ghostbusters. We can use the equipment we spent alot of time on more than a couple times a year and help others at the same time.

We'd could use the help. As much as we've done this month I believe we have some idea what it would be like to be real ghostbusters. There's alot of busters down in Florida though right?

I haven't met any yet. But it would be great to.
