On Saturday Morning January 2nd the Arizona Ghostbusters participated in their 2nd appearance at the Fiesta Bowl Parade in downtown Phoenix. The Fiesta Bowl Parade is the largest parade on this side of the country with an average spectator attendance of 100,000. The parade was broadcast live by local channel 3 and online. We spent Friday night completing more work on the Ecto-AZ including adding the yellow storage tubes, ladder, and attaching the dish and sniffer. During the parade we alternated between using the car's actual siren and a looped music track of the Ecto siren, GB theme, Ecto siren, and Savin' The Day. We had 11 geared up members walking, our banner infront of us, and friends and family in the Ecto.

The parade is one of the funnest events we're in. The reaction we get from the crowds and the smiles on their faces is certainly something we won't soon forget. You'd almost swear you were on your way to fight a marshmallow man. This parade was especially memorable having so many of our new members walking and the Ecto behind us. We can't wait for next year.

We'll have more pics and a video of the tv clip soon.

Here's my first attempt at making a video from an online feed. A better quality version is on the way. The video is a bit off from the audio. At the end she is saying there are 20 teams in over 6 countries.

Thanks.

They were and survived. I like to believe it's because the car has extremely heavy duty shocks and rides incredibly smooth. Don't worry, pack racks are in the near future.
