On Friday, October 29, 2010, the Arizona Ghostbusters teamed up with the Downtown Phoenix Ambassadors 2nd annual Zombie Walk. The walk was months of preparation and promotion. Last year the walk had about 300 walkers and we wanted to get way more than that this year. The walk was combined with the downtown Hallowen Festival. We also made the walk a food drive for St.Mary's Food Bank. We were able to get a full police escort for the Ecto and walk which allowed us to run full lights and sirens on the Ecto and allow the zombies to have the entire street to themselves. The walk was a full mile through downtown heading through and outdoor mall and pass a Suns vs. Lakers Basketball Game. We had 2000 zombies show up and participate which is a new record for Arizona. It was an amazing and awesome night. Busters, zombies, and passers-by all had a great time and we collected a ton of food. We can't wait till next years walk.
Here's one video we found, we're still working on ours:

Thanks. I really didn't realize how big it was getting till we hit a long stretch infront of the US Airways Center and I looked back. It really was like we were being followed by the Apocalypse. Most of the walk I was looking forward, using the megaphone, and making sure the zombies didn't get ahead of the Ecto and police.

Zombie child! ZOMBIE CHILD!
Ahem. (*ray)
More great stuff, looks to have been a great turnout. That house at the start of the Zombie walk is absolutely beautiful, I imagine it's one of the oldest buildings in Phoenix.
Great stuff as always Jeff.

Yeah he's one of the two Jr. Busters that showed up to the walk. They were both Zombie Busters. They've come to alot of our events and yes, very creepy at this one.
