The Arizona Ghostbusters have teamed with the local non-profit community theater, Madcap Theaters, to present two screenings of the original “Ghostbusters” on Saturday November 21st, 2009. The first screening will begin at 7 PM and the 2nd screening will begin at 9:20 PM. Before each screening we'll have pre-show activities and Ghostbuster item prize raffles. The raffle items have been donated from fellow sponsor Bookmans' Entertainment Exchange. The raffles and admission will benefit the theater and help keep it's doors open. Though the actual anniversary of Ghostbusters has passed we're still celebrating. Our full team will be on hand with the Ecto-AZ. We encourage everyone to come out in either a Ghostbusters t-shirt or even a proton pack and make sure to bring the kids as well.
Yeah we promised Sony he'd come back in one piece.

The raffles will now benefit our December 5th Holiday Toy Drive with Spazdog Comics for the Children's Cancer Network. Admission will still benefit the theater.

Here's some of the raffle items we have so far. Our local GameStop we worked with the Ghostbusters Video Game Release Party donated several of the video game shirts, wallets, wristbands, and glow-in-the dark belt buckets. We also have several copies of the first movie poster and Stay-Puft Marshmallow lip balm. For silent auctions we have a lot of vintage Kenner Real Ghostbusters items and a San Diego Comic Con exclusive Egon. More items coming soon.

Looks like we may have landed some Fox tv coverage for the screening. Keeping our fingers crossed.
