Didnt hardees have a deal with GB2. I know McDonalds had the RGB school stuff like pencils, eraser, sharpners, notepads mess like that for happy meals.

Hardee's did have a deal also, but I believe Bruger King ha the Ghost in the Can. Hardees had the cup the zapper and one other thing, I believe. I could be wrong however.

your right–hardees did have a GB thing–they had those toys–and these “noise maker” things–that were recalled cause of the batteries–they were watch batteries–and the battery compartment was easily opened–and children could choke–and me as a child being the BIG gb fan i was—had (and still have!) the whole set of recalled noise makers! smile

Are we counting RGB or just the movies?

Hi-C had the Ecto Cooler and Chef Boy R Dee had RGB shaped pasta.

There was a product in Australia in the 80's called “Lolly Gobble Bliss Bombs” which used Ghostbusters in their promotions for at least 3 or 4 years. Bliss Bombs are like honey-coated popcorn that come in packets similar to potato chips.

From about 1986 they had the GB logo on their packets, and among prizes you could win were RGB figures and merchandise. I won two Egon's from collecting Bliss Bomb coupons, hehe.

Up until 1990 I was still seeing “Ghostbusters” Bliss Bomb packets in the supermarket from their mid-80's promotions. But I'm afraid they are long gone now.

Oh, and Ghostbusters Ice Cream! The “Streets” Icecream company in Australia had an RGB popsicle for a while in the 80's. It had blue RGB packaging with the gb's and the GB logo on it, and the icecream itself was Red flavoured on the outside with soft vanilla on the inside. I loved that stuff smile

I actually have a pic of a toy that Mcdonalds made, it was wind-up siren that was on a hollow plastic ECTO-1. its in my toys section. That was for GB2 mind you… i think that GB2 had more stuff like this than GB1. RGB counts, sure.smile
