Back to the Future Video Game?

Update: Episode 1 is schedule to be released sometime tomorrow during business hours. HOWEVER - that is only for those who have paid for the season. An email came out over the weekend that stated that those who were using the code to get the first episode for free have to wait until February and Episode 2 come out, before getting the first episode. Therefore, the email recommended, that I just buy the whole season now, so that I can play it on release day.

Personally, I think that's a cheap shot by Telltale. No where before was it stated that those using the code to get episode 1 for “free” would be delayed a month and a half to 2 months.

Also, I think it's a dumb move that will ultimately cost Telltale money. I don't have a PS3, so I was hoping to get this on Xbox. Well, Telltale has stated that it's not coming to xbox. So that leaves my almost 10 year old computer. I was going to use the “free” episode to see if it would run on my computer at all. If so, I was ready to buy the season right then and there. (read: in December 2010 - well before episode 2 is due to be out). At that time, my understanding is that the only option I have to buy the game is to pay 25 bucks for the whole season. The SAME price paid by all those that pre-ordered - even though I already have a “free” episode. So by the time I've done that - what have I gotten for free that those who pre-ordered didn't? Simply the chance to make sure it will work on my computer before buying it.

Let's just say that this game has been my first dealing with Telltale, and with their decisions, I will probably not buy anything from them except this BTTF game - IF it will run on my computer. I refuse to play their mind-games and purchase the whole thing, just to try it out tomorrow.

I just got done with episode 1 and absolutely LOVED it. Really got the “BTTF” vibe whilst playing it. Can't wait for the rest of the season.

Funny, I refuse to play the PS3 due to the lack of PS2 BC.

As for the trailer, that is great, I think if my PC can run Star Trek Online, hopefully it can run this.

Shit, if your computer can run STO, I seriously doubt it will have a problem with this.

Thankfully it didn't have any problem at all, as a matter of fact, I'm now doing an LP of it, though of course I have a spoiler tag and such for those who don't want to be spoiled by it since yeah, it's still brand new.

Just finished the first part. Really fun and captured the film. Really impressed with the sound alike too, and young Doc in the game really captures Christopher Lloyd style.

It is coming to the PSN at some point, although no date has been confirmed as of yet. All that is known atm is “early 2011”. Hopefully January……

BTTF for ps3 will release on February 15th on the American psn store for those interested…… such as me

No confirmed EU date at the minute, but i'd assume it'll drop the next day on psn.
