Well, apparently a lot of weird things are going on over on the telltale site.

(First: semi related - episode 1 of the game was released on ps3 yesterday - so those of you with a ps3 - have at it, but don't spoil it for me.)

Now, on with the countdown……i mean the weird stuff.

1. The official episode 2 trailer was posted officially, and then taken down quickly. I didn't get to see it, but apparently the end of it said “available now.”

2. There was a thread posted by a mod saying that episode 2 was available. That has also since been taken down. Some on the forums are taking that to mean it MIGHT be up later today or tomorrow.

EDIT/UPDATE: (Since I'm still the last post, I'll add this here even though it's the next day): The telltale site is back up. Both Episode 2 and the free version of episode 1 are up! Also, it appears that the season price has been lowered by about $2.50.

I can't wait to download episode 1 tonight! If it runs, I know I will buy the whole season immediately.

3. Apparently some have seen a download link for episode 2, but those have also been taken down.

4. Now it appears the whole site is down for maintenance.

Take this for what you will. Just figured I would pass it along.

Personally, I am still waiting on the “free” copy of episode one, so I can make sure my computer will play it before I spend the money on the whole season. (A simple demo would have done the job TT, and if the game had run on my computer you would have already had my money.)

Most likely March I would have guessed. That's my biggest nitpick/nuance with telltale games, they're sooo vague about everything. Especially non pc versions..

I just finished playing episode 2 on my computer. It was fun!

I played it for the PS3 today…I was less than impressed. I now fear for the Jurassic Park game…even after seeing, what I thought was a cool bad ass trailer for the new JP game.

I'm really iffy on the story as of now. I guess when I heard there was going to be a BTTF Game I got excited too quickly.

I thought they did a good job so far on capturing bttf, so far

Played episode 1 on PS3..finished it in 2 hours…not much gameplay…most of the time it was just Marty moving around on what looked like a very fake hill valley. You couldn't go left or right..it was limited to crappy backgrounds and too linear…the story sucked..I doubt this will become canon. You cant go into some doors and to tell you the truth there is NO GAME PLAY! just bunch of talking heads..the graphics bellow the head are horrible. stick figures. OMG, they sure ruined this game for me….while in the car you couldn't even move around or see around…no 360s EVER…

I gotta say the ghostbusters video game was 500X better than this…

I played episode 1 over the weekend. I'm less than impressed as well. I had to turn the resolution down so that it would run on my computer, and even then it was still buggy. (But that's not why I'm not impressed…)

I thought the controls were absolutely horrible. The graphics were ok but not great. The best part of the whole game was the very beginning in the mall parking lot. It just went downhill from there. Like GB Freak, I guess when I heard BTTF, I just got excited about it too quickly. It got to the point with some of the puzzles that I just read all the hints to move it along. I just didn't care.

Originally I was planning to buy the whole season as soon as I knew it would run on my computer, but now I think I might wait for it to go on a good sale. Walkthroughs are posted on youtube, I could get the story of it from there.

All said and done, I am really glad now that I didn't break down and buy it when Telltale decided to pull it's stunt regarding the “free” episode.
