Let alone the fact that you can either view it as a free Blu-ray player or a free PS3, considering a Blu-ray player costs $400 anyway, and is the next gen of DVDs right now and looks amazing. I don't hear anyone complaining about the fact that they're getting something for free basically.

You can view it 1 of 2 ways:

Playstation 3 costs $400, so the Blu-Ray is free

A Blu-Ray player costs $400, so the PS3 is free

I'm not seeing either of these as a negative.

The simple fact that Xbox 360s are now, $199 plus, 2…yes!, I said 2, free games, should put up a red flag on how cheap and unreliable they really are! Yeah the PS3 cost more…and always will, but in the long run, it will be worth every penny.

Note to Bill Gates, stick with what most 50+ year old Computer Application moguls know best…“Soft”ware!…sorry, I couldn't resist!(*peter):-)

Yeah, how “stupid” of Bill Gates to put out faulty hardware that tens (hundreds?) of millions of people have bought and even when the hardware craps out they buy even more.

I know that they had many problems when they first came out but I bought mine in March and haven't had a single problem with it. Plus the game library for it is ridiculously superior to PS3. Although I'll admit that I need to play Metal Gear Solid 4 before I can die happy.

Um… yea, it is stupid. LOL. Sure he's making money off of it, if that's what you were going for. But its not a satisfactory product to a lot of people and it fails a lot… thus, stupid.

People! People! lets not start a stupid console war on this thread each system has its pros and cons. Yes the Playstation 3 is superior in power but is real expensive. Yes xbox are powerful and relatively cheap and has a large selection of games but its not as reliable. Then there’s the wii, its fun, its cheap, its weak.

And on that note I feel inclined to lock this as there was never a issue to begin with.

Thanks for keeping it civil though, there's been enough XBox/Playstation/Wii/Dreamcast debates to last a lifetime.
