I checked with the manager of the local bookstore (it's the only place in town to get comics). He said that he'd heard about the new GB comic, but he didn't know if he'd get it or not. His exact words were something like “it all depends if they send it to us or not.” The guy wouldn't even try to order it or inquire about getting it when the time came. :1( | :l( So there goes the chance I had of getting the comic locally. :u Not to mention that my chances of getting the posters and other stuff was already slim unless you could order them out of the back of the comics like the new “He-Man” comic has. So that chance looks out too. :f So as of now, it's about an 80% to 90% chance that I WILL NOT be able to get my hands on any of the new GB stuff. Unless I happen to find it ALL (since nowhere here would carry any more than comics and those seem to be out of the question for the time) for cheap. Since I got screwed out of $200 online (some on here might remember the crap I went through with that one), I'm not a big fan of sending large amounts of money online. This really put a big dark cloud on my day, but for some odd reason I got the feeling that this would happen, it ususally does. Talk about a GB2 Louis vs. the giant slime mold on the museum situation. Unless some weird 180 degree turn around happens, the revival looks to be shot for me. This sucks.

I feel for ya man. The only comic shop around my house wasn't sure if they would be getting it. Luckily, since they're open to suggestions I made a comment that they should attempt to order it, and he said he'd try.

I think I'm gonna check with my comic book store tomorrow, just in case. Sorry guys, hopefully you can order them online.

I'm sure that 88 MPH Studios will be selling through their web-site. If not, eBay is a good place and maybe even GB.net might sell some stuff too! (Hint:Chad!)

The only thing that would really depend on getting it online is price. I don't want to pay out a lot of money online… Not to mention that I'm still not too hot on using a credit card online. I also don't have one to use online. Hopefully their new site will have info about that stuff.

I hope that the mods don't think that this is a bump, I'm just adding that I've emailed 88mph about the issues that came up in here about the merchandise and comic not being available in some areas and asking what they planned to do about that for those of us that have NO comic shops in a reasonable amount of distance. I'll be sure to post what they send in a reply IF i get a reply from them. I figure it might be helpful for those of us that can't get the comic or other stuff locally unlike many of the ghostheads that have local comic shops.
