Just wondering why not just keep posting in this section (and other sections) of GBN for your franchise?
I'm not trying to jump all over you, please don't take it that way. Its just GBN and the board was created as a centralized place where all ghostheads can gather. Why have 2, 3, 4, etc boards?

because say some serious hacker comes and screws up the fun just to be stupid so if he messes with the coding it will take a while to fix so we have emergancy back up boards

IMO I'm sure it would take a lot for a “serious” hacker to take on/down GBN. *Chad, feel free to confirm to reassure any misplaced fears* Chad wrote this site and board from scratch, while not 100% positive, I really doubt this board can be screwed up, except by it users who didn't understand one rank doesn't mean crap over another. We're all ghostheads right?
I don't care if every ghosthead site/franchise site has a message board, I can't see many posting on these other boards. Its not a personal attack, I do wish you the best with it.

yeah it would take a good hacker but the hacker is only as good as the program that gets him in and there are some mean hacks out there

If i recall GBN was flooded by a hacker once. Took HOURS for the Mods to clean it all up.

Ok and how long ago was that? I'mn sure since Chad, the mods, whomever have made changes so “the best” hackers can't invade GBN.
Whether its foolproof or not is yet to be determined. Hopefully we'll never have to find out either.
Honestly I don't care if we have 1 kagillion message boards for Ghostbusters. Do what you want, people will post where they like anyway.
Its not just here, I belong to at least two (and at one time more…) boards/clubs just for one kind of car.

The moderators took care of that. 
There were several attempts like that, that caused mods to work for hours on end. Ok.. Ok.. well a lot of the mods at the time were bums and didn't do anything at all.
Problems like that will be solved in GBN 2.0
