Why should it cost at all?

I thought America was the country where anything was possible, if Britain can achieve an National Health Service why can't America improve it's healthcare services?

Sure, maybe you need to overall the way things work, but hey.

Question, are all your doctors in Hospitals? Or do you have General Practitioners in specific Doctors' Surgeries?

The answer is simple, there's too much money to be made in the health care and insurance industries, so we'll never have socialized medicare. In fact, they make so much money they can deny covering you for whatever reasons they make up, such as, you smoke cigarettes or if you've had an injury prior to changing health care providers, should it be something you may have to have worked on again, you're too much of a liability, they don't have to cover you. Or, for instance, when I had my fake tooth put in, my insurance only cover half of it, because it was considered “cosmetic” since I chose to go with an implant, which will never break and be with me for the rest of my life, versus a bridge which would have ruined two of my other teeth and eventually broken.

No, our doctors are not all in hospitals, all of my doctors have been private practice, as in they have their own shop, which is why it's so expensive. Most doctors in hospitals deal those who are very sick or seriously injured. However, what people who are broke or have no insurance do, is go to the Emergency room because it's free, for stupid shit like a cold, which fills up the lobby and keeps doctors, nurses and other employees from doing what they're really supposed to do, work on those who are there for an actual emergency. This is why a woman dropped dead in the lobby of a hospital in LA because no one had time to get to her.

Yes there are clinics, but there just as bad as the hospital. I agree with you too that america is the land where anything is possible. Sometimes it takes time and right now is not the right time to start universal health care. When we get the doctors to cover america then we can get universal health care. For now we need to focus on making health care affordable.

What are you talking about, we have plenty of doctors, we just don't have any doctors who are willing to take the pay cut and give up their private practices. They like driving their BMWs and Benzes, why would they give that up when they don't have too?

I dunno if you're a boy or a girl or whatever, and don't take this as a personal attack, but your abortion view is a bit skewed. Condoms are cheap but not always readily available, at winn dixie across the street from here, which is a grocery chain, you have to buy them from behind a close counter, and show ID, which is fucking absurd. Also, anyone who has ever had a health amount of sex with condoms knows that, baby, sometimes they break, and then what? Birth Control without insurance ain't cheap either, so I'm supposed to have this guy's baby? Or rather, carry it for 9 months and then give it up for adoption? Americans don't even buy American babies anymore, we buy them from China like everything else. Not to mention you'll end up with god knows how many girls pulling the ol' wire hanger trick. Why is it a social issue that needs to be worried about? Obviously if you can afford an abortion and have one you are being responsible, because now you aren't having a child you [can't provide for, and really, the only thing that says it's wrong is Religious Doctrine, which is null and void anyway due to the fact that we have a seperation of church and state. Getting rid of it would only send us backward.

Y'know, abortion is kinda like gun control.

Republicans love to say if you make owning a gun a crime, then criminals will own all the guns.

Well if you make abortion illegal, same principle…sorta. People are STILL gonna do it, they're just gonna do it illegally, and dangerously, in back alleys with unclean tools. At least if it stays legal, it stays healthy.

In retrospect, I'm not sure that analogy is anywhere near as solid as it sounded in my head. But the point I'm trying to get at is you can't stop people from doing it. Sex is an instinctual drive. As a race, we NEED to have it. And even if you use both condoms AND the pill, there's no 100% guarantee. Things go wrong all the time.

Besides, I'm a science kinda guy and science says until the third trimester, it ain't a person yet.

okay I don't want us to get to far off subject so I will no longer discuss abortion. My opipion has been stated. Health care is also a whole different problem. There is still a lot to be dicussed about it. From Now on I will only responsed to questions about the candiates.

bye the way donkey Punch I'm an guy. I would also like to point out where I live there is a lack of doctors. If you get injured on a saturday you got to go to emergency room because nothing is open. The closes clinic open on saturday is 100 miles away.

Well, sorry to continue off topic, but, as a woman I don't feel like men have as much say about it, since you aren't the one who has to carry it for 9 months, and honestly, it's not below a man to take off if he so chooses. And you must live in a very small town, because that is definitely not an issue here, the only issue with health care around here is the simple fact that so many uninsured and poor clog up the ER, so what's supposed to get done doesn't.

For most instances we use a GP for any health related issues, such as illness, anything that doesn't need emergency treatment, from what I understand of your free clinics, our GP Surgeries are not the same. But anyone can turn up to a hospital in an emergency and it's generally that packed, but always free. But you can still go private if you want.

As for abortion, my personal feeling is that there should be a window for it to happen in, before the foetus has reached a certain stage of development, afterall, even condoms aren't 100% effective.

I will say this and end it like you said a guy could take off the condom and continue to have sex. If that against a girls wish then that is rape and if you read my previous post you can see I said that if a girl was rape she should have the choice to have an abortion.

She didn't say “take it off”, she said “take off”. As in, a guy knocks a girl up, only to dump her and run away, leaving her to deal with it all by herself. A female can not run away from and abandon being pregnant the way the dude can.

Happens all the time. Sucks all around. If I were the kid in that situation, I think I'd rather be aborted than raised by one lone person who can't afford it.

I mean, you have to know that when, like, some 14-16 year old girl has a baby and decides to keep and raise it (and has to drop out of school in order to have the time to do so), that kid will never grow up to make anything of theirself. They just add to the number of poor, uneducated, and unemployed.
