Lots of references to the zelda franchise, I wonder if thats the writer trying to compare, or a decision taken by the production team.

I'm buying it.

Well I'll tell you what, nothing in that article made me want the game more than the comparisons to Zelda.

Necro! NECRO! NECRO POST! HOOOOOO!!!!!

For those you are interested, as of the 7th (today) a demo for Batman:AA is available on both PSN and XBL for download. According to Kotaku it is a different demo than the one already available on PSN and is an actual demo of the first part of the game (rumored to be at least but as of this post I am still at work so I haven't DLed it myself so I cannot say for certain yet) and not of the combat challenge.

Can't wait. Not to much longer to go for the Batty Goodness

I was fairly nervous about this game (A good Batman game? IMPOSSIBLE!) until I played the demo today that is. I love the style, I love the combat and I love the stealth.

Couple of weak points, the NPC models seem a bit hastily thrown together if you ask me. The first live guard you meet is pug fugly. The lip synching is off by a mile and the intro scene seems a little light on story (I'll give them a mulligan here, because it's just a demo, and they might have cut some stuff out).

I am the night! I am…THE BAT! OW!
>What?
I keep getting my tongue stuck in the mouth slit.
>Well stop putting it in there.
I can't…IT'S MADDENING!

I agree, I am loving the game…everything from the free-flow combat to the Predatory game play (what they prefer it be called as they said Stealth implies Weakness).

I am forgiving them for the light on story since the story isn't supposed to be about HOW Joker got to Arkham…but what happens when he is IN Arkham.

While I agree the NPC's are fugly and the lip-syncing is of by miles as well that doesn't bother me…the game is shaping up to be awesome.

Who can forget last year's costume party, where we went as Dorothy, Scarecrow, the Lion and…. “the Bat!”

I'm not a gamer, but I got to try it out yesterday, I was impressed, but like I said, I'm not a gamer. I think I'll buy it if I see it for PS3 (which was also the version I was able to try) I enjoy the fact you'll be able to play as the joker. It should be fun.

I am really glad AA is getting good reviews…makes me start itching for Tuesday when mine arrives.
