There is a unfounded rumor circulating that Robin maybe in the sequel to allow for Co-Op play.

I read that as well. I think the only way it would work is either on-line or split screen though. Having both characters on one screen would detract from the exploration they had in the first game.

The only real hiccup I could think of is, if Robin is absent from the Single Player story and thus not in any of the animation sequences, how do you explain his (in my opinion) distracting appearance in the Co-Op…

anyone heard a real update on the sequel yet? The worker at Gamestop told me that originally it was scheduled for June, but it's been pushed back (which I knew) but he said he might even be into 2011 before it comes out. Anyone else heard this?

Huh…the last I heard the game was always TBA 2011 and still was last I heard. But then again I really haven't been keeping up with game news like I should recently.

Was announced the other day that Mr. Freeze (along with Talia al Ghul) will be Villians in the sequel. Though I wish for the TAS VA for Freeze…I am happy to announce that one Egon Spengler, Maurice LaMarche will be his VA.

And for the record…something for you to tell the Gamestop employee GhstbstrLMLIII, Geekcastradio was the first to report this with an interview with LaMarche ( http://www.geekcastradio.com/?p=1358 ) where he said:

I'm about to go in and do Mr. Freeze for Arkham Asylum 2 … He's out for blood right now because, err… I can't tell you the situation, but he's actually somewhat a sympathetic character within the framework of the game.
That kinda blows holes in the idea that the game was originally going to be released this year but was pushed back(*winston)

Very cool! (I'll be sure to pass along the info ) The man does good work. While I agree that the VA from TAS was great, I'm intregued to hear LaMarche's take on it. He certainly had the scientist down with Egon, now he just needs to turn it evil.
