The sequel to Arkham Asylum is coming out October 18th and it looks awesome! I'm very excited about this game and I can't wait for it to come out. Anyone else picking Arkham City up?

I'll probably get it for Christmas. Loved Arkham Asylum, hope this delivers.

It'll be a day one purchase for me. Arkham Asylum was a great game. If they capture even half the magic of the original, it should be a nice little treat.

Batman: The Animated Series is a classic cartoon as far as i'm concerned, so it's very nice to have Conroy, Hamill, Dini, etc from that series contributing to these new games. The first is easily the best superhero game of all time. Hands down.

If it weren't for the fact that I am going to be gone out of town the week that it comes out (actually leaving before the sun comes out on the 18th proper) then it would be a day one purchase for me as well…just like the first one.

All I have to say is Kevin Conroy, Mark Hamill and Mister FFFRRRREEEEZZZEEE (unfortunately not voiced by Michael Ansara but I can deal since it's going to be Maurice LaMarche instead)

I saw a recent interview in which Hamill said Arkham City will be his last round voicing The Joker. I hope not. Next to Ledger, his Joker was my favorite.

Hamill's voice has no equal for me when it comes to The Joker.

I'll probably pre-order through Gamestop to get the Joker's carnival challenge map. Although, you can play as Robin in challenge mode if you pre-order through Best Buy.

I seem to remember hearing somewhere the reason for this is that the Joker's voice is getting too hard for him to do…Dunno if there is any truth to that considering most of his “evil” voice acting ends up coming off as a less “extreme” Joker voice.

There is a rumor floating around that the Robin BB preorder is going to be a day one DLC.

I watched trailers for AA and AC. Hamill's Joker voice sounds considerably deeper and even a bit strained/cracked in places.

I have always perceived Joker's voice to be straining to do - even back in the TAS days. There is just something about the “extreme range” his rendition of the character goes through that, even now, hurts my throat to think about it.
