Taking insult to anything said to you is taking your position to far. I am not going to post again on this as Chad said to get back on topic and no I am not sucking up to him, but I know when the owner of the site says to drop it you drop it. As for the Facebook group thing (is that still the topic here?!) I like the idea, as lately I have almost began living on facebook (notice my drop in posts in the forum?). However, as vented at the beginning of the thread, don't assume facebook will always be the thing. I remember a year or 2 ago when myspace was the in place. Heck lots of people are also doing the twitter thing.

On topic, I hope GB.org really shines and is the best GB site out there for Ghostheads, but devilmanozzy is right. Facebook is great, I use it, but social sites never can replace a true .org site with a forum. Just a suggestion.

I came back after being gone from the ghostbusters community for a month and the first thing at the top was this thread. You are the one coming at everyone and then running and hiding and claiming you meant it only to Chad. Then send it to Chad and stop telling the forum.

Let's all keep it cool and remember that this is a transition, which – by itself – is going to stir up dust.

Let's get back on topic. Instead of assuming and arguing about things, you can always ask about the site and we can have a real discussion about the future.

I am again disappointed at the lack of modding here. This topic should be erased up till Kingpin and I started the back and forth, it be stopped and we move on. I am not innocent, I admit that as THIS post is evidence of, but I DON'T GET why flames and crap like this keep going on this site while one beats the other over the head into submission or like the video game discussion parkbench ruined (Yes you ruined it dude) and FINALLY it was locked. It hasn't been erased because I don't feel that it is productive to cut off every argument just because it's an argument. People disagree in real life all the time without moderation staff. Some of these go too far and result in violence but there are plenty of times where they eventually fizzle out and the two people arguing manage to continue coexisting without killing each other.

This is a pretty tame argument by both internet and Ghostbusters community standards, it hasn't decended to puerile name calling or to people making remarks about other people's family members.

My stance would probably be different if either of those two things had happened, but they didn't.

I would like to address one point you made though, about the start of this topic's divergence. I honestly feel that you've take too much exception to when Jay and I remarked about:

I won't go into a long drawn out thing, but I said before: I commented to Chad, the guy that owns this place about the staff. I was talking about the staff yes but I wasn't address you, I was addressing him. His point was you don't need to get offended and require an explanation because I don't owe you one. No offense, but it is his site and I was commenting to his changes to this site, whether it affects/involves you, me or whoever. Basically you guys butted into our conversation.
