Best Cartoons vs Cartoons the make you question humanity

Imagine Power Rangers, but swap the Rangers for the Turtles, keep the weird mystic stuff, throw in a new female Turtle, change their appearance for no real reason and that appears to be what Next Mutation boiled down to. I borrowed the DVD from the local Library to see some elements of it (they reused the Subway set from the second and third films which was of personal interest) and whilst I tried to watch the full first episode, I just couldn't finish it.

Not only that, but Saban actually did a crossver between TMNT Next Mutation and Power Rangers Turbo. Yeah, a meeting between two of the most enduring kids action/adventure franchises…but neither of them in their best days creatively. Venus =teh suckage. Justin=teh suckage. Venus and Justin in the same place=mucho mucho teh suckage.

Actually, it was Power Rangers in Space. The episode was called “Shell Shocked” and it basically invovled the main villian turning the turtles evil and using them against the Power Rangers. It was a pretty crappy episode.

For some reason, my memory being faulty on this one is strangely reassuring. It means I have been mostly successful at blotting that thing out of my head :-)

Are you reffering to the Power Rangers series, or just this practicular episode?

Just this story. And, well, all of Next Mutation. I actually have watched Power Rangers off and on over the years–I really didn't care for Turbo, though, and by then I was working and didn't really get to pay attention as much anymore. I think my memory crosswired Astronema with Devatox, which is why I misremembered it as a Turbo story. Those bitchy villainesses start to look alike after a while. :-)

most of the cartoon from my childhood rockd but todasy cartoons suck
take teachers pet when it was on they way it was drawn made me sick
and on the subject of power rangers ok when the first seson came along they where good hell grate but now it seems there just pulling ideas out of there ass ummm power rangers as…..monkeys we'll call it bannana force and the zords will be……bananas UM NO
then there are cartoons that try to hide lerning in with fun like Captin Damn it god he was a superman rip off anyway
