most of my favorite movies were released in the 80's. but that doesn't mean it was the best decade for movies. alot of films in the 70's had such a pure and grimey feel to it. seemed like it was more about the art than anything else. i think alot of us are saying the 80's because thats when most of us came up and those are the flicks that we grew up with.

You all say 80's b/c u guys lived then but theres been better movies out in the past.

yeah i am an 80's/today kinda fella

The 80s and 90s for me. Some of the movies of today are okay, but that list is VERY short.

Ive watched plenty of old movies. But by far what always sticks out is 80s movies for me.

like others have said, my favorites were made in the 80s, but that doesn't mean i think it's the best decade…. nearly EVERY decade has films that i absolutely love….
