In the past decade, we've seen many great examples of cinema. We have come to a golden age where originality, creativity, and artistic expression take precedence over profiteering, superficiality, banality, and concession sales. Take this film as a testament to this Utopian period in cinema:

Oh wait, that was just footage from my second honeymoon.

Ah! Here we go:

See what I mean? How sweet it is!

Got to be the 1980s. But I think every decade has had plenty of good movies to offer and each is special in it's own way.

But I think every decade has had plenty of good movies to offer and each is special in it's own way.

This. There are good and bad in all of them. I could go all day creating a laundry list of great films in every decade. It just depends on what your personal preference is. Even these days when every film is a remake or sequel, there are still plenty of gems shinning through.

I think I'd have to go with the 80s too since that's when Action movies started coming out. Although I guess Star Wars does count as an action movie. But I actually do like the old classic Universal Horror movies like Frankenstein, Dracula, The Wolf Man, and their sequels. I admit I haven't seen that many movies from the 50s and 60s.

I think 2011 is gonna be the best year for movies as there are many good movies like:-

Final Destination
Harry Potter And the Hallows part 2
Twilight Breaking Dawn

are coming up..

But in all seriousness looks like we are going to be having a interesting rest of the year with movies. Can think of a good number of interesting movies that I wanna see
Just off the top of my head:

Dylan Dog: Dead of Nigh
Thor
I'm Not Jesus Mommy
Priest
PotC:Stranger Tides
X-Men: First Class
Super 8
Green Lantern
Transformers: Dark of the Moon
Captain America
Another Earth
Cowboys & Aliens
Don't be Afraid of the Dark remake
Conan the Barbarian remake
Fright Night Remake
and
Suing the Devil
