Hi. I need to sell off some of my stuff due to some finances so extra things I have collected need to go.

This is to be sold as a lot, I want to move this stuff all at once, yea I know it's a lot to ask for at one time.

Shipping is free! Insurance will be free!

Sorry, I will only ship this to the continential US.

You will be asked to pay first, I can accept Paypal(but you have to cover fees or send as a gift), Personal Check(I will wait until it clears) or a Postal Money order. I can accept cash too…but I would never recommend sending cash through the mail. I can also arrange a pick-up or drop off if you live within 30 min in or around the Pittsburgh, PA area.

Thanks for looking!

Asking Price: $400

I never understand why so many people seem to opt for the “sell all at once” approach… I can understand the logic that it means that the whole lot is gone once a buyer is found… and that the full total is achieved… but I honestly think it's better to sell each item separately.

It might not mean that the full amount is achieved instantly but it opens the items up to more interested parties who may only want one of the figures.

I've tried to sell individually. Nobody replied, and I'm tired of waiting and need the $$. That being said I could always go to EvilBay…but I'd rather sell them at a discount of a few $$ here and there to a real GB fan that to someone who might turn around and hock them for a profit. I feel like someone willing to buy this off this site in this fashion would more than likely collect them or put them in their collection. Which is where I'd rather see them go. I'd rather not get rid of them at all but times are tough and I need a new transmission.

Can't say I necessarily follow your logic.

If no one responded when the items were listed separately (and they could've chosen to purchase them all from you at once, if they needed all of them) then why would someone buy the whole lot together now?

I get that you need the money now, but the logic behind expecting someone to buy the whole lot isn't necessarily sensible.

And I wouldn't assume that anyone on eBay is going to try to turn them around for a profit, and even so, if you need the money that bad, who cares? You can reach more people that way who most likely aren't board members.

I mean let's be honest, we don't exactly have a ton of very active posters on here. Maybe about 20 or so, until GBN 2.0 launches…

Just a tip from someone who's also selling a bunch of stuff right now… I'm in need of money too, but the likelihood that someone would need everything I'm trying to sell is minimal.

1.Well I do need the money I'm not gonna die if I don't get it…I'd just rather not have to borrow so much from the bank or place it on my CC. $400 doesn't pay for everything, but it's a nice chunk of change towards it.

2.I said I COULD go to Ebay…which if all else fails, I guess that's where it would go.

3.You're right though, I've had probably 10 different sales lists on this website…I've sold something 1 time. I've had tons of replies and messages all that end up falling out. It's like pulling teeth here. Still, most of the time I just figured that on a Ghostbusters Website someone would have some interest in buying.

Probably off to Ebay…it's just a pain if I have to pay for a listing that doesn't sell. I don't use Ebay to sell a lot of stuff…I typically use secondary sites(mostly to buy and sell Magic:the Gathering stuff).

Did you ever stop to think the reason it doesn't sell is your asking price is to high?

Actually considering what the series 1 figures go for on Ebay or other websites, Walter_Peck's prices are really pretty good. I bought some stuff from him before. Great seller and certainly ships with extra care to ensure the safety of the items.

Honestly, the price isn't too bad… If I had it to spare I would prolly offer close to what he's asking. I'm trying to complete my .hack collection right now and anime stuff especially video game tie-ins are expensive. Heck, Mutation for PS2 is selling around $40 used at Gamestop.

Off-topic I know, just wanted to let the poster know there are ppl out there, it's just a tough time being a collector with the economy still rough. I wish I could buy it, maybe if you don't sell the lot you can send me a PM and I might be able to buy a item or something off of ya to help, no promises, but I'd like to help a fellow GB fan out if I can.
