Not every scene was bad, I think the elevator scene was perfectly Peter Venkman. Although I do admit, some scenes were either cut or not sproofed up enough, but this is not the voices actors fault and given te time of the developers sometimes not everything can be fixed in time. For what they could do, they did it well enough to make me love it
Bill Murray was Peter Venkman in all his essence. I am tired of hearing of him “not being his role because he sounds tired”
He was just as good back then as he was. There is just so many differences that change between voice-overs and actual movies.
For one, making a movie you have to really talk. If you try to whispers, you can;t because then the mics don't hear you. Sometimes, and this especially goes for the fountain scene, they had to do it as a voice-over because the fountain was so loud the sounds were drowned out (no pwn intended.) You don't have this problem in say a booth where it is sound proof.
