Billy's death was so much sadder then when Michael Jackson died.

Ok, I don't think we need to get into this. Its just asking for a flame war. You may think that someone's death is “sadder” but there's no reason to post a statement like that. Plenty of people were hurt and saddened more by MJ's death, and saying something like this is kinda like a slap in the face. Nothing good can come from a statement like this.

That was just my opinion. Believe me, if you want flames, I could easily piss people off. I simply stated that Mays' death was more sudden and shocking TO ME. Don't let it bother you.

It doesn't bother me… and I could see saying its more “shocking” based on the lifestyles that each led… but you didn't say shocking before, you just said sad. Saying someone's death is sadder than someone else's is just disrespectful. Both to the deceased and to those who care about the deceased.

Sadder isn't even a word, the correct statement would be “Billy May's death was MORE sad than MJ's”
