Ok, some one has to know about these. When I was younger, I had the Ghostbusters board game where you had the skull that fell at random from the center structure. Does anyone remember this???

Also, there was this children's book on tape that I had. It was a story about these two kids that saw ghosts in this guys house, they call the ghostbusters, then when they show up it turns out that the ghosts are realy holograms or some other special effect trick. ha ha, a happy endinghad by all, blah blah. Anyways, does anyone know the name of this book or have the tape or other tapes like it that they can put on the net?

Are you sure that board game was a Ghostbusters one?

It's just I remember shopping back in the 80s with my dad and older brother, just after xmas and my brother got a game that sounds very similar.

It was called ‘Ghost Castle’. You played as one of the four counters which were stand-up figures of children. There were traps and other such things around the board, and the idea was to make it to the center, up the stairs of the castle to win - trying not to set the skull off as you played (it would fall down and come out a hole at random, usually knocking a counter over).

Coincidentally, after my brother bought that game we went to this toy shop place and I got RGB action figures of Egon and Peter.

I remember the board game (it had the original real ghostbusters picture with the guys in the car chasing a ghost(slimer i think)with stayfuft in the backround.)on the cover. i think the pic was on the cover on one of the original eps covers.anyway it was a 3d stand up game and you could be one of the busters.I was 2 young to actually play it though

Yes I do remember the board game i think i still have it somewear also i remember the Tapes And Books The one with the holograms and the other one with the ghostriders in a old mining town they were all very cool
