Ghostbusters Doom 2 will be a Free 32 level replacement for doom2, and will require the modified doom source called BOOM and a registered copy of doom2

that comnfuse me and the oficial page say something of boom

Boom was the first incarnation of the modified DOom source. It added new effects and Jazz. Zdoom (what GBD2 uses now) is beyond that. Mouselook, multiple resolutions, more cool stuff… ZDooM Even incorporates the Boom Features.
