I would like a separate cartoon board. The way the movies and cartoon topics blend together in posts is a little confusing especially if you are looking more for the cartoons. The Cartoon baord was always active before it got merged so I think it would work fine. But If anyone can tell me why it was originally merged if there was a valid reason thats cool. I would prefer it to be separate though.

No. Another forum just for the cartoons is just going to take up more space. There's nothing wrong with leaving them together. Anyway, there are already threads on both the cartoons and the movies in the General GB Forum. It would be pointless and wasteful to make another one. Not to mention troublesome for the new Moderators. Leave it the way it is.

I just feel that for myself its a little better. I always thought back on the old board for example that the cartoon discussion was just a little higher. There were some people that only posted there and I stopped seeing them post as much once the board got condensed.
I dont see how its any harder than going from movies to miscellaneous. I find it easier to click and find all the cartoon topics then to scroll through the thousands of Eugene Levy in GB2 posts and whatnot that constantly reappear with many of the movie posts.

The way I see it is this…there hasn't been anything “new” cartoon-wise in years. Therefor, there's only so much one can talk about before you're just beating a dead horse. But keeping it with the rest of the miscellaneous Ghostbusters talk at least gives people a chance to mix up the discussion, which means that cartoon chat won't eventually die out into nothingness.

HOWEVER…I don't know if it's possible on a phpbb board, but on vBulletin, there is a row of icons that you can add into your subject line. IF it's possible, it might be wirth everyone's wile to be able to pick from a few of these when they start a new thread in the “Ghostbusters” section. If it's for a cartoon, let it be a little TV, if it's the movie, a roll of film, etc.

It's not very well thought out…because I just thought of it…but it might be something worth looking into.

Maybe its just me I guess, but I always remember the cartoon discussion going strong before. Besides whats not new with the cartoons that is new with the movies?
