Yeah, I remember that episode too. It was from an episode of Muppet Babies. There are two Ghostbuster references that I know of. The first of which was the “Bugbusters” thing they did where they go into Scooter's computer to fix the bug so they can finish the game. (Does anyone know where they have Muppet Babies info or episodes on the net?)
The second reference that I know of is in an episode, Bunsen and Beaker make a nightmare device which helps them to scare away bad dreams, or at least has a parachute of something. (it was a long time ago, and I was young.) But th thing that I remember is that they mixed in footage of Slimer in the hallway of the hotel when Beaker was showing how to use it.
So I repeat, does anyone know any good websites for Muppet Babies information?

There also another Muppet Babies ep. where Piggy was a exact cartoon replica of The Staypuft Marshmallow Man. I think in that episode Gonzo turned into Super Gonzo to defeat it. Either that or he turned into a super hero that's powers were baking utensils. I don't remember its been a long time and they might be two different episodes. Just my quarter on the matter.

Everyone remember the Batboy ep? Where they parodied the BATMAN movie and Gonzo had tons of Batgadgets?

The scene with Beaker and the Slimer footage is in the opening credits isn't it?

There is actually a company in my town that is called “Bugbusters”. They drive a large white pick-up truck (looks to be brand new), with a “No-Bug”
logo on the doors. Below the logo, it says, “We're ready to believe you.” On the tailgate and in the phone book it says, “Who ya gonna call?”.

Pretty cool.

Yes I remember that Muppet Babies episode, I have it on a tape actually.

Muppet Babies was a great show, I mean for a show that sends kids messages it really was quite terrific while being entertaining (and I mean entertaining entertaining, not tiddlywinks and sock puppet entertaining for an education show). Ahh, such fond memories. And looking from a completely GB point of view, it had a shot from the movie right in it's theme song (Ray shooting Slimer for those who don't remember). There were plenty of episodes were Ghostbusters crept in. The Bugbusters ep. was one of my favourite, and to this day I say the ‘bugbusters’ song sung by baby Gonzo is one of the best GB song spinoffs/remixes (though perhaps it would be better if it was sung by someone other than Gonzo).

Some of my other favourites are (I don't actually know the episode titles)
-the construction of the railroad (a toy railroad with two teams starting at opposite ends of the house)
-the video game battles (Gonzo and Miss Piggy compete in a game that's strangely a lot like Legend of Zelda, while the rest of the kids want cracks at games that involve that running mat, and a Donkey Kong type game)
-Little Red Riding Pig (I'm actually pretty sure of this title, the babies put on a show of little red riding hood, but everyone twists it around, the best being that it ultimately takes place in the Star Wars universe and Miss Piggy flies in an X-Wing to places like Dagobah… with Animal playing Yoda).

Ross,

The episode your referring to with Gonzo and Piggy playing video games was called “Its Only Pretendo”.

going on the same line of cartoons with gb related things, there was a chipmunks episode, where they were afraid to go into the basement because of a ghost,
they sang the gb theme in their chipmunk voices. it was pretty cool.
anyone else remember this?
