Just in case you weren't aware about the Legendary Car pack for Burnout Paradise came out today. Has anyone tried the Hunter Manhatten out yet? That's the car they remodeled to resemble Ecto-1. In case no one else is aware, they also have knockoff brands of the Delorean from Back to the Future (it flies too), The General Lee from Dukes of Hazzard and Kitt from Knight Rider. Was just wondering if anyone else has tried these cars out.

Ive tried the Ecto 1 esque car on the ps3 version, its a fairly good approximation without being to close to the real thing that it infringes copyright, i do wish that the siren was closer to that of the original though.
one nice feature is the spinning lights on the top if you boost when the siren is on.

I have the legendary cars pack for the ps3 version, the Manhattan spirit is a good approximation of the ecto 1 without getting in the way of copyright infringement, i do wish the siren sounded closer to the original though.
one nice feature is the spinning lights if you use the siren and boost at the same time.

Something I have noticed is some of the equipment on the roof…I see some familiar pieces of hardware on top that really are on top old Ecto. The only 2 major differences that I wish they could change but they can't is the roll bar lights being red instead of blue and I wish you could have the logo on the doors. But, its definetly a tie for me on whether the Delorean knockoff is cooler or Ecto.

a nice little homage to the GBs is the little messages on the side of the car like “We're ready to listen to you!” written in the same type as the We're Ready to Believe you from Ecto-1a.

hey i just downloaded the manhattan spirit car for burnout paradise how do i drive that car in the game?
do i drive around and wait till i find it then take it out?
or does it automatically go into my car list.

after you DL the pack, when you start the game it will ask do you want to start with Cars, Bikes or Legendary Cars. Pick Legendary Cars, it will give you a selection of all 4 cars in the pack or whatever ones you purchased if you did it piecemeal. Next step is find Ecto and bust outta that junkyard with your lights and siren going…
