Just won this lot of Ghostbusters figures on ebay:



Can anyone shed any light on the labcoat which Fright Features Egon is wearing? I presume it's either homemade or from another toy….never seen it before.

I saw those on eBay too and Egon's labcoat got my attention too… either it's homemade or either it's from another type of action figure different than the Real Ghostbusters… could also be from a Egon action figure from those Real Ghostbusters toys released in Argentina by Kenner & Jocsa…

looks like it might have gone along with the ‘egon’s lab' set…

The lab coat belongs to the character I.Q. from “James Bond Jr.” No Egon figure ever featured a lab coat (indeed, only GB2 ever showed him wearing one.)

I once bought an IQ figure at a flea market and, not knowing anything about “James Bond Jr.”, removed the lab coat and renamed the figure Janosz! (if you ever find an IQ figure, you'll notice that the two look somewhat alike.) (*egon)

I knew it but just didn't knew what action figure it could be… I suggested Argentina Real Ghostbusters because I have some of them and the equipment, colors, etc, they are all different from the US releases…

I gotta look now for that “Janosz” action figure lol… thanks Nix
