I have the Toy Firehouse, but I dont think that would be very exact. sounds like an awesome plan.

Are you talking about the real firehouse or just the one from the cartoon? If you're looking for the floorplans for the currently active Firehouse H&L #8 then you'll have to do some research.

West End put out the GBI role playing game, when they did a small red booklet came with it that had some neat plans tot he firehouse. Although not exact in anyway shape or form they coverd two stories and the basement. I suggest picking up thos or you could wait a million year till i get my scanner and scan them in.

If you can get your hands on the “Making of Ghostbusters” book (or a scan of the picture) there isn't floor plans, but a cross-sectioned model of the fire house with a scale model of the Ecto inside. It's pg. 39, and won't give dimensions, but gives you an ideo of the layout of the place, the back rooms behind Peter's office, etc. When I'm home from school over the summer I'll scan it for you if you want.

thanx guys just what i needed i'll look up some 411 on hook and ladder #8's firehouse and ill see if i can get this very large project started.

Also keep in mind that the Hook and Ladder #8 was only used for OUTSIDE shots of the firehouse and the firehouse they used for inside shots is in LA. So if you want the real plans for the fire house interior you must go to the LA hall of records. Also the cross section in the pic isnt all the way accurate. Peter's office had railing, the model did not. Jen's desk is also out of place, it should be directly infront of peter's office not to the side. The walls here not wood, it was tiles. Oh and FYI the LA firehouse was last used in the movie “The Mask” it was home to the mechanics who worked on Jim Carry's car. Oh and get this, it still has the original doors.
