If anyone is interested, I could make a set of plans for H&L #8 and I beleive I might have an earlier but unffinished set of blupritns I was making on my computer.

GBVA is right, H&L 8 floorplans are no good to you if you want the firehouse interior to look like GBHQ. What you need is Fire Station #23 plans. These should be obtainable from the LA City Council, since the building is still owned by the city despite being decommissioned over 40 years ago.

Access to the building might also be granted if you contact the Asset Management Division. Just ask nicely

Also, some little tidbits for ya. Peter's office was a set built in the firestation. It is not a permanent fixture, and you might notice its absense in The Mask, Big Trouble In Little China, and when it was in Buffy. Behind Peter's office is a rear door (just like the front door), so fire trucks and ambulances can exit either way.

I've got some info on station 23 which I collected on the net. Have a look, you might find something of interest to you.

No sweat, fellas. Glad you found it interesting. I love the history of that building. It's hard to believe it's 92 years old. Man, that's a lot of history for one place. Imagine all the generations of fire fighters that worked there, all the drama, and after everything that's happened in the world since 1910, it's still there standing on East 5th St.

I hope to visit the fire station sometime in the next couple of years. I've just joined the air force for a 6 year stint, so maybe my travels will take me back to LA someday.

Do you mean you don't see any text other than the buttons in the bottom frame? Does the background come up?

What browser are you using? I made the site with MSIE in mind, but I don't have Netscape so I couldn't test it on anything else.

I just had another look at the site and nothing appears to be faulty. All the text and pictures come up. I'm not sure what the problem could be.
