This was posted on the Toronto Humane Society website. Apparently, they want to pass a law allowing pounds and animals shelters to sell abandoned animals and pets for experiments!

Help us change the inhumane legislation that forces pounds to sell animals for experiments. It is wrong to do this to lost and abandoned animals, and it is wrong that the Act forbids the humane societies from inspecting the experiments.

As an animal lover, I think this is extremely wrong and cruel. It's bad enough that owners abandoned their pets, now the government wants to make things worse for them by experimenting on them? It's true that this happens a lot already, but I for one can't just sit back and didn't say I tried. This is extremely sad if it passes.
