Most of you people know me as Bo Holbrook, The founder of Ghostbusters: Nightsquad, The original cartoon franchise. It has come to my attention that Ghostbusters International has essentially banned anymore cartoon/fan fic franchises from being created. I find this to be an outrage because there are several hard working people out there trying their best to make a fan fic franchise only to be told that GBI won't make them official. Most of this derives from their inability to keep track of the growing number of fan fic/cartoon franchises springing up and to make sure they're turning out a quality product and a professional product. I cannot allow this to happen so now begins my campaign.

My proposal is this, Since GBI doesn't want to deal with Cartoon Franchise or Fan Fic franchises they should put Myself and Vincent Belmont in charge of regulating cartoon franchises for approval to GBI's master list. If we are in charge EVERYONE will get a fair shake, But we will be firm in our stance that you MUST put forth a quality effort in your product. Other rules will be made if we get in charge but those will be thought of later.

As I work with Nightsquad I'm bound to have bias, but they'll be handing out skates in hell before I see NS and NOMAD go downhill, or any other quality cartoon franchise for that matter! |

Even if Ghostbusters: Ecto Force does happen to never become a real GBI Franchise, I still HIGHLY support cartoon franchises. You guys have my vote!

As founder of the Canadian Ghostbusters, I agree, we cartoons should be acknowledged as official franchises…
especially since the Real Ghostbusters are cartoons themselves…

I suppose I will somewhat back this for now, but not because I disagree with it. I feel this will segregate us, and make us seem not as “good” or important as others. What I want is for acceptance of cartoon franchises being considered “neutral.” As I explained in my other post, I want people to be able to think of us as either real or cartoon/comic, choosing in their own mind which they would like. But, if this is the closest I will get to that for now, then I vote yes also…

Here is my view on this. We dont need to have a civil war here. First we need to try to work with Louis. This will keep the community strong. If he does not cooperate I dont see it that we need a head to speak for all the cartoon franchises, perhaps a coalition would be the most democratic apporoach.
