Hey, Everyone! OK, these are all really good ideas. I see the next movie as a sort of training movie for three new characters, but the originals being the main focus. That being said, these new guys'll eventually take over the franchise, so they need to be pretty strong. My choices:

Paul Rudd: He's the sarcastic of the bunch. Playing pretty much the same character he always plays.

Elizabeth Banks: Assigned to the Ghostbusters by the EPA, she tags along on missions to make sure they are being environmentally friendly and more “humane” toward the ghosts. She straps on the pack, on Peter's orders, to protect herself, so she will be pat of the team.

James Franco: We've seen that he can do the comedy (Spiderman 3) well, as well as serious roles (Pineapple Express, anyone?), so I think he'd be a perfect Ghostbuster!

I really like your ideas, especially the one about Elizabeth Banks. I don't know about Franco though; he can be funny I just can't seem as a Ghostbuster.(*winston)
I feel Kal Penn could be an interesting choice but he works in the White House now so he's probably out. The more I think about it the more I would like to see him as a Ghostbuster.

I'll revise my first roster to be:
Paul Rudd
Elizabeth Banks
Kal Penn
Bill Hader
and maybe Orlando Jones & Emily Blunt (maybe on these two)

I think you have those reversed… Spiderman 3 definitely was not a comedy, and Franco played a more dramatic role in that, and Pineapple Express was anything but serious, total comedy there.

Second on James Franco and Kal Pen. He did awesome in House and I can definetly see him as a recruit.

My other personal choice.

No. I don't think so. Ghostbusters is too important for me to try and be one. I would feel like a phony. I would feel like an impostor.

Why do people keep saying they're too old for this stuff? I'll repost this again:

I don't understand why we can't have the original cast wearing the packs again. It's not like they're running around doing crazy stunts. In GBs 1 and 2, the majority of the films were the guys not wearing the packs. Have a big ghost bust in the beginning and another for the finale. If the packs are too heavy then make them lighter.

I can see Bill Murray kinda taking it easy when it comes to the ghost busts, but the other cast members shouldn't have a problem. I just don't get it. Like I said, it isn't like the first two movies had the actors doing crazy stunts.

It's feasible, but not impossible.
