Four time travelers arrive in 1980s New York City on the run from someone called “the Slug”. They follow the Ghostbusters to a job and wait until they trap the ghost of Captain Nemo before stealing the trap and teleporting away, leaving the Ghostbusters befuddled. They’re soon in for much worse when the travelers place reality shifting devices in the firehouse, locking each of the boys into a nightmare world! It’s Winston vs. monsters, Peter vs. a werewolf school, Ray vs. an alien planet, and Egon vs. nature in a barren wasteland. Even if the boys survive, they still have to deal with…the Slug!

REAL GHOSTBUSTERS VOL. 1 #9
The Ghostbusters rescue a young boy from a ritual sacrifice, only to find out they’re caught up in something bigger than they ever realized. The dark forces want the boy and they’ll stop at nothing to take him from their care…including taking over New York City!

REAL GHOSTBUSTERS VOL. 1 #16
The Ghostbusters travel through the artic hole into Spike’s realm where they hope to face off against and defeat Nurtog. Unfortunately along the way, their disguised zeppelin is compromised and Nurtog snatches Spike from their protection. The Ghostbusters must now journey into the lair of the demon and defeat him for the life of Spike and the safety of his kingdom!

REAL GHOSTBUSTERS VOL. 1 #17
Samhain, the spirit of Halloween, finds a way to break out of the containment unit and begin his reign of Halloween terror on the world once again. But, this time, the Ghostbusters are nowhere nearby to oppose him as they return home from their adventure at the Earth’s core. Confronted by goblins in the air and hit with the realization that next week is Halloween, the Ghostbusters put the pedal to the medal to get home quickly. When they arrive, however, they’re in for a surprise to find the city mutated with an army of the undead, and their friends in the clutches of Samhain!

Ray returns to Toad Island after 25 years to visit some old friends in the Freak Show, but ends up saving the day.

Egon and Janine take a visiting Shannon to the circus, only to discover one of Samhain’s minions now works there. However, he’s far from happy and begs Egon for help.

REAL GHOSTBUSTERS VOL. 1 #22
Ecto-4 is destroyed, and the teleporter is with Nurtog in the Ghostbusters’ world leaving them effectively stranded. Nurtog uses his superior powers to stomp through a defenseless New York with no one but Janine and the Crime Patrol to face him. The only chance is if the Ghostbusters can use the experience of the stranded pilots in the core to help them all return home and stop Nurtog once and for all.

Something lurks in the closet of Tommy Newkirk , something that fills him completely with terror! Something bothers Egon Spengler too, and a check-up later he learns his fears were just; when Samhain had escaped the containment unit the last time, so did another entity; the Boogeyman! He’s out, and he’s looking for revenge against his favorite meal-ticket; Egon!

The Ghostbusters experience some down time, and Egon and Janine decide to take advantage by having a stroll through Central Park. They eventually wind up at the estate her cousin Michele had just inherited and learn that the place is haunted. They meet a ghost named Aaron whose mother was possessed by the spirit of the evil witch Ginerva and ritually killed him. With Ginerva’s host body dead, her essence lies in the hat that Michele had found and put on! With Ginerva in Michele’s body, Alec’s life is in danger unless Egon and Janine can stop her.

“Tobin and the Maze of Time” Part 2
The Ghostbusters are trapped in dreamspace, and they must find their way in order to help Tobin. However, things get hairy when the boys are separated and confronted with creatures straight out of mythology!

Bottomless-Pitt, famed archaeologist uncovers a doomsday mask on his latest trek to Africa. Sometime later, the Aztec high priest Quelzatalcum appears in New York and begins to carry out his mission; bringing forth the Apocalypse! It’s up to the Ghostbusters to battle the four horsemen before taking on the priest himself, or else it’s the end of the world as we know it….but he'll feel just fine.

REAL GHOSTBUSTERS IN GHOSTBUSTERS II #3
News Years draws closer, and Vigo has made his move. Having Janosz kidnap Oscar and luring Dana to the Museum, he encased the entire building in an impenetrable slime wall. Only the Ghostbusters could stop him now, right? Perhaps, if Lenny’s assistant Jack Hardemeyer hadn’t had them committed to the psychiatric ward of Parkview Hospital!

GHOSTBUSTERS: LEGION #1
It’s been six months since the Gozer bust, and the Ghostbusters’ fame is slowly beginning to fade. It’s back to business as usual; Peter handles the media while the others handle the hard work. Ray, however, seems uncharacteristically down about their current situation for some reason. On top of it all, a sinister prisoner has just made his escape, and it guarantees trouble for the boys in gray.
