Clarification on new Ghostbuster 3 film for charity.

Iceman, by all means, post whatever proof you feel would resolve the issue.

2. Go to the pre-production meetings, which are open to fans.
3. Meet the cast and crew at the press conference scheduled for the 8th of April.
(I am sure that this board would love to have an exclusive interview or other material relating to the film)
4. Go down to the first days main shoot, which is also open to fans.

Should someone be interested, where would the pre production meetings, conference and shooting be taking place? From what I've read, somewhere in York but that's all the location information that has been revealed… leaked or other.

Iceman you said:

“Unless this is a free for all type of forum, then you, as a moderator would generally be held above most of the normal users and would be expected to back up what you say…not just because you can say it. ”

I agree with you 100 percent.I havent made any claims without foundation nor do I feel it is apporopriate for members to do so when the topic stands to stir a great deal of emotions. All I am trying to do is look out for the members here Iceman. I would love to see this film but you have to understand that its not wise to make such big claims without immediate proof over the internet. As a moderator I have witnessed problems like this before. If you want people to think you are legit make an announcement in conjunction with your “press packet” and offer something beyond rhetoric that can give credit to what you are saying.

This is ridiculous. Sony have not and would not agree on any terms with any of what you have explained Iceman.

You must soooooo much spare time on your hands.

Matthew… ages ago, a guy said he was Ghostbusters producer Micheal C Gross. I asked, ‘why would Micheal C Gross be posting here?’

It was Micheal C Gross.

Point is, I'm now more willing to entertain a seemingly insane* notion if they are willing to post something to support something they've said.

It seems unlikely yes, especially after the ‘spurious’ comments the unofficial confidant posted.

But, y'know… it's a win win situation, like a certain mentioned ‘real’ ‘ghost busting’ technology, if Iceman is legit, then more power too him… and should the winds of fate show that nothing legitimate was to take place… then we won't lose anything.

Either I'm right or I'm wrong and something Ghostbusters is made. I'm happy both ways really.

Sorry Iceman. I don't mean to be rude but I just don't beleive you. I'm a “I'll beleive it when I see it” kind of guy" that's all.

Hey Kingpin! When did Michael C Gross post here? I didn't know about that.

Incidentally, just recently I heard on tv that one of the Uk tv channels are bringing us yet another ghost hunting programme similar to UK Livings Most Haunted. This show is made up of a team of professionals who each week answer calls from the general public to investigate their houses which they claim are haunted. Could this be it I wonder?

Firstly, it is not a fan project.
firstly, IT IS. any live-action GHOSTBUSTERS film that is NOT written by aykroyd and ramis is a fan-project, in my opinion.

you know… it seems that after ALL this time that has passed from when we first heard about this “fan film”, we would have seen some sort of proof… press release, blurb from aykroyd/ramis/reitman, pics, concept art, etc. all we have seen is a stolen fan-logo… which isn't very professional of a “legit” film, in my opinion. (no offense, fusion… i dig your work)

iceman, you come here, talking DOWN to the long-standing members of the GB community that don't totally go along with what you're saying. a legit GB license holder, sebastien clavet of 88MPH studios, took the opposite approach… he became friends with a lot of members, and became one of the “fans”.

Hey Kingpin! When did Michael C Gross post here? I didn't know about that.

If memory serves, it was about two years ago now, he was posting to advertise some items he was listing on eBay.

Was it Poleroids from behind the scenes of Ghostbusters?

Was it Poleroids from behind the scenes of Ghostbusters?

I think that, and other things, including the poem Sigourney Weaver wrote once filming was completed on the movie.
