Hello Everyone!

Long time no “talk”, mea culpa as they say.

Mistakes were done, lessons were learned and here we are.

First off, the Hard Cover situation. The only reason why it is impossibly delayed (not canceled) is caused by a low ordering versus a high printing cost. Now is it fans fault ? Hell no. Is it my fault ? Who else really, so yes.

I probably should have done it in soft cover first, maybe I should have done more advertizing, I should have done more of this and less of that. At the end of the day what is important to know is when do you get your copy.

The only way for me to compensate for the low ordering is to finance the difference myself, hence making this process very slow. However there is something you the fans can do to help out by simply letting me know about a few things. I will post polls tonight and just let me know what you think about various things.

I should note that I created Weaver Hall for legal reasons only. Owning the place gives better freedom and control as to how I interact with the community, it also allows me to not think about the many potential legal troubles I could run into otherwise.

My goal is not to compete with Chad or Troy or anyone else owning a GB discussion board. I like and respect all GB Discussion boards, true I visit some of them from time to time but posting will be concentrated on Weaver Hall. I should note that I make no money by running Weaver Hall.

Again I apologize for the aggravation this is causing everyone but I can say that there is not one day that I don't work on solving this unfortunate delay. Apologizing does not absolve all my sins, I realize that but I hope you will all participate in the polls which will definitely help.

Doesn't everyone just feel better?

The update is appreciated. Any news is good news.

I could go for an RGB-style car, or even something that you can see the guys drive in. The car is iconic, but I'd rather see some new stories until the issue is resolved.

And for what it's worth, I don't want to see Seb break himself, as he's apparently covering the extra costs. If he needs to make a few sacrifices here and there to get it out, do what you gotta do, man.

Saving the money now may lead to more books later.

I'd like to see the series get off the ground again.

Unfortunately the choice of a 59 Cadillac meant that the car was both iconic and in some ways irreplacable…

Though because you mention licensing costs (And I know some licenses can sometimes be extortionate) well, if it can help keep costs down for the foreseeable future (And help redistribute funds to help create a comic)… it could be the lesser of two evils… it depends what sorta vehicle is considered as a replacement… something equally iconic and ironic. And if there's a … ghost* of a chance it could return, I'm all for it.
