Apparently Mattel is selling a “detailed” Ecto 1 at Comic-Con. Detailed meaning they painted the roof rack. I have to say if the detail is that good I might have to pick one up.

I was thinking the same thing. For $20 you'd think they would go for accuracy, but what are you gonna do. The big questions is, is the logo on the back door now?

Well, seeing as it looks like they've painted the inside edges of the ends of the tailfins, which were left white on the normal store release, they should hopefully have added the missing logo.

well, I don't think it looks as good as some of the customs I've seen on the boards, but I'll probably try to get one after-market (since I won't be at the con).

The tires and wheels look nice to me, though I agree with everyone else about the roof rack. And I agree with mulder101361, I couldn't see myself spending $20 for it.
I haven't taken a ruler and measured this before, but just from visually looking at the size of the logos and the size of the rear cabin door, I think the logo would just barely fit on the back, that is if they don't re-size the logo for the back side.

The Ecto-1 is neat, but I agree that it isn't $20 neat. I'll get one if it pops up where I can get it; but, don't hold your breath to see me running for it (which will likely put me OUT of breath).

Yea, news of this broke a few months ago. Its the new line of “retro action” Real Ghostbusters figures. Everyone seems to be torn about whether or not its a good line. This is the first figure in the line, which is Peter from the episode Citizen Ghost, in his movie uniform. They will also have the variant version, which is Peter in the Green Ghost version. Only the Green Ghost version is available at SDCC, and the movie uniform version will be available on Mattycollector.com after the show.
