Comic History question

Just wanna clarify on the UK comics a bit. They followed the TV designs about as much as the NOW books, but went a step further and incorporated some of the TOY designs into the stories. Specifically, the Super Fright Features suits, a few ghosts, Ecto-3, Ecto-500 and the design of Ecto-2 (minus the propeller trigger).

There were also two Slimer spin-offs produced by the companies who did RGB. The NOW version was all original until the later half of its run when it started reprinting the UK stories, and the UK book featured very little original content reprinting mostly stuff from the NOW series.

There was a lot of exchanging going on between the two books, both in stories and even covers. All of this is explained and evident when I get the Comicguide back up on its feet, hopefully soon.

Thanks Guys, i feel caught up now. At least now I know I only need to track down the 5 (4?) issues that 88 did and find the other 3 issues of The Other Side.

I need to further clarify my description of the Marvel UK RGBs vs the US NOW RGBs. I meant to explain that the Marvel UKs went for a screen-perfect match to the character designs, always the same regardless of who was drawing them. NOW gave its artists a little more artistic freedom, and as such, while the characters remained recognizable, they weren't as steadfastly conformist, so to speak.

And to update:
>The Marvel UK RGB was a weekly series.
>I've found some Swedish RGB covers online, but they look to be translated re-prints

Do yourself a favor and DON'T get the Other Side. I'd recommend the 88MPH series, though.
