Comic Will Lead To GB3???

Does anybody think that if the Comic is hugely successful along with the other items 88mph studios releases. Sony will rethink their decision and want to do Ghostbusters 3???? :s :s :O

well unless there is some sort of OVERWHELMING overnight response to the comics..I doubt sony will greenlight GB3, if after a few years the products are selling well then maybe the'll look into it..but by then the actors will be pretty old..

Yes, after all they green lighted Men in Black 2. The movie wasn't great, but it made a lot of money. They even have a 3 on the way. At least rumor has it, the movie will be based off a Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones idea they came up with during 2.
I remember Dan saying that GB3 won't be made for the same reason MIB2 won't be made……

Although, I would hope Dan, Harold, and everyone else get's into shape for the movie.
Side note, how much do you want to bet that John Goodman will be in GB3 if it's green lighted? He's always doing SNL with Dan and vice versa.

I've got a feeling GB3 will happen eventually. I don't know if the comics will lead to a GB directly but they should influence merchendise such as T-Shirts and GB related clothing. That will then catch on and become a cool fashion thing (like there are many Transformers and Thundercat clothing going around now). That may then lead to video games being produced, then a all new cartoon series. After that the movie will follow - called “Ghostbusters 3 - saving the world as long as stairs arn't involved”.

I too have a feeling GB3 will happen eventually. But probably not within the next couple of years. And the comics probably wont be the cause. Something else will come after the comics before any movie. And I also wouldnt doubt if John Goodman is in GB3, he is good friends with Dan and they have a good chemistry. I actually want Goodman in it, he is a good actor and Im a fan of his.

i think it will move onto a toyline and or something else…then hopefully…(*music*)…a major motion picture!!! :O ….i think goodman should have a cameo….not a full on GB…i think that wud ruin the gb series
