Confused about the release of the game

Ok I was looking through Septs Gamepro and it has a section displaying this falls top games, and it lists ghostbusters coming out in september, not in 09 and not the original month of october..
Now is this an error or what

Interesting… 
Perhaps its a clerical error. But that would be awesome if it came out a month earlier.

remember most gaming magazines are usually put together a month early. so even if it WAS true that probably isnt the case anymore with the sudden lack of a publisher for the game.

Yes muffins, this is an old article… It was actually pushed to release in late October of 08… But since the internet is updated on a, you know, by the second basis, things on the internet are going to be a lot more current… The game getting pushed to 09 is a development from today!

I really get the feeling that the proverbial rug just got yanked out from underneath a LOT of people, and most of them found out the same time that we did.
I don't see this as anyone knew anything around Comic Con. When they got back, WHAM! SURPRISE! WE'RE JERKS AND DON'T WANT TO RELEASE YOUR GAME! FIND SOMEONE ELSE IF YOU CAN, SUCKERS!

every day i wake up, go to work, and when i get back there is more crap going on with the game.
No, no there isn't. There are exactly two things going on - Activision didn't mention Ghostbusters in an article talking about what games it's keeping. And then there's an unofficial mention that the game may be pushed back.
You might consider counting the few game press that talked to the pubs/devs and were told it's not canceled as a third. But that's it.
There is nothing else, except conclusions people are jumping to, then the conclusions people jump too based on the conclusions others jumped to.
“The game is still in production”
That's all we know right now, and that's all we need to know until something official comes out.
