Painted covers are very special. The comic industry does'nt have that many, either be DC, Marvel, Dark Horse. Sure some cover are done in a painted style, but these GB covers are actually painted on canvas.

Paintings also have that inspirationnal look. That's why you see a lot of expression in them.

Again I must stress the fact that the GB guys are not heroes, simple foes put in extraordinary situations. Therefore super heroic types of covers and poses would not fit the genre.

I like the Ray cover! He has that look when he says “I gotta get some sleep, I'm dyin” and then the post ECU explosion/jail scene hair….definetly cool.. (*ray) February seemed like such a long time away and now it's almost here!
