RGB for Game Boy…

o god…so badd

RGB for gameboy was pretty much just a recycle of the Garfield gameboy game. In fact, the only thing they change in that game is the muisc, adding the ghostbusters theme, and adding Venkman.

In reality just about all the video games ever made for the Ghostbusters sucked

Not all. Ghostbusters 2 for gameboy was pretty good. As well as the forigen NES game NEW Ghostbusters 2.

I think the worst ghostbusters game was Ghostbusters 2 for Atari 2600. It was HORRIBLE. I couldn't even get past the first level, and the graphics were really bad. Even for Atari, they didn't spend a lot of time trying to even make it look like ghostbusters.

I thought the NES Ghostbusters was horrible.

Yet, the Sega Master System version of the same game was my favorite version of the whole lot.

Yeah, the Sega Master System version had better looks, but like with the Wii version of Ghostbusters, better graphics does not a good game make, the Sega Master system version proved that, or should I say prooved?

i think the Commadore 65/Atari version of Ghostbusters 2 is the worst, the game made no sense. the gettin the peices for the Slime scooper. and the terrible final battle with Vigo. that made absolutely no sense, you'd shoot him nothing would happen. and then you'd have to line up each GB perfectly to shoot at him at the same time. HORRIBLE

For me it has to be a toss-up between GB1 and GB2 for the NES.

Those being the only ones I've played, besides downloading New Ghostbusters 2, which kicks ass compared to just about every other GB game besides maybe the Genesis game.

GB1 was, above all else, a major let down. The crap gameplay, graphics, and concepts just makes it worse, but seriously… this HAS to be, in terms of movie tie-in games, the E.T. for the Nintendo era.

and GB2 for NES, while infinitely better than GB1, was still pretty crappy. The graphics weren't that bad, and most of the concepts were nice… but the crap controls, driving levels and difficulty made it an overall lame experience. Specially the big let down of a final boss fight.

Makes me wish they had brought over New Ghostbusters 2 into the US. That would've rocked.

The only game I've ever played of any GB game was the RGB Arcade game. I've seen all the others and they look pretty horrible. Even the XGB Game Boy one was a little crappier than that.

Looks can be deceiving. You have to play it first to know if it's really that bad.

I don't know why they didn't bring over New Ghostbusters 2, especially since you could play as Louis, that was awesome. I'm still going to have to go with the original Ghostbusters for NES as the worst game though.
