Yesterday I was in the chatroom talking about G3. Some people disapoint me. During the conversation, I said “The project goes pretty bad” and “G3 will, maybe, never see the night”. That was enough to activate the childish critics of some member. Only one to say the true and I dont have to give a name. I have this to say: When someone dares to speak in a funny way, there's probably something to read between the lines. So before making a fool of yourself, try to find what the other “fool” think.
First: G3 will, maybe, never see the Night. I know it is Light. But what do you think when someone talk about Ghostbusters? Dark hours; Scary shadows and noises; Poltergeist; Nightmares to trap if you want to save the day! You dont think of a shiny day with flowers and birds singing! Well I thought it was funny to say Night but some are too intelligent to smile.
Second and Last: The project goes pretty bad. I know its in a swamp. But a lot of time a movie made thirty, fourty, even a generation ago pop up in the theater with some lifting. Think about StarWars. Lot of stuff was made before Episode1. Comic book, remastered version on cassette and dvd, new games and toy lines. So what can tells us it'll never see the night? Look at “RedKetchup”, he's one of a few that will maybe bring back the interest in the movie with the creation of new product. Maybe the industry wait for an interest in the general public and not the fans. If its a contract question, think that the law can deal to make things appen. A contract is a little thing. Politic show us everyday!
Also, for me, GB3 can mean more than a third movie. Its a fantasy, our fantasy. If GB3 is made, then it'll morph into GB4 and that goes on and on. GBx started after the first GB, when we started to dream about what we would like to see. Then came GB2, and now the fantasy continu. When someone tell us about is fanfiction, we dont go: “your dumb!”. We say “its interesting” or “its funny” or “I like it” or “Its not my taste”.
Enjoy your imagination. Have fun with your idea. Ignore, like I did, those that are too intelligent. Do sketch of what you think. Do your own version of GB3.
