Hi everyone. I am a newbie here. I've been a HUGE Ghostbusters fan since first seeing Ghostbusters in a theater in 1984. I have the special edition DVD for the first movie, and the official “one-sheet” movie poster for it. I am very interested in 12“ Ghostbusters custom figures. I'd love to have ones of the guys. Peter Venkman, Egon Spengler, Ray Stantz, and Winston Zeddemore. All of them in their jumpsuits wearing their proton packs, and other various accessories. I only know of one place that made a custom of the Bill Murray/Peter Venkman 12” to show off in Toyfare magazine a few years ago. It was made by guys at www.andgor.com. Here is the link!

Wow it is so awesome! I've been a collector of various 12“ movie and T.V. character figures over the years. None of the Ghostbusters were made in 12” or 1/6 scale. Anyone know of someone that makes them or sells them? I don't know if Andgor.com will sell their Peter Venkman. I doubt it, but I'll ask them. Please let me know if anyone has any information about custom 12" Ghostbusters figures.
Thanks!

Yeah that Bill Murray one looks awesome! I found another page here a while back that looks like a custom figure, just looks like a random doll in a GB costume though. The detail is fantastic, I would buy them!
Here's some pics:

Hi “Fusion”. That custom 12" Ghostbusters figure looks like Ray Stantz (Dan Ackroyd) to me. Especially since he's wearing the headgear like Dan did in the first movie. Thanks for the link! I e-mailed the NECA toy company at www.necaonline.com about making a series 2 for their Ghostbusters line and doing the four guys. It looks doubtful that they'll do it. I hear that actor likenesses are hard and expensive to get sometimes when making figures. I guess all we can do is hope and pray. But I've made a few 12" custom figures of my own. So, I may give it shot sometime and make them myself! Take care.

ps- I just e-mailed the guy that made the above pictured figure. Hopefully he'll respond to me soon!
