Dan Ackroyd Starts Filming GBIII...?

Here is an interesting scoop that one of the mods over at Matty.com has got, might be a load of rubbish or true.

So I think most of us had heard many of the rumors. Ivan Reitman was in then Columbia didn't want him; Venkman would be die early in the film and become a ghost; Ben Stiller, Jack Black, Paul Rudd, and many other Judd Apatow-following actors could be the next wave of Ghostbusters. I mean the list goes on and on.

The last any of had heard was the most recent Bill Murray interview when he said it was a rubbish, or something to that effect. Well, I happened to be on Dan Aykroyd's vodka website and decided to e-mail the guy in charge of the area where I live to see where I could buy some of it. I get this response today…

Thanks for your interest in Crystal Head Vodka. Mr. Aykroyd will not be touring anytime soon. He's preparing to film Ghostbuster 3.

Saw that post too. I wouldn't trust his handlers for promoting Vodka to be that in the know… nor would they just release info like that.

Also if he was preparing to film GBIII I'm sure he would be all over the press letting all the fans know that he has a green light, seeing that it has been years that he has been trying to get the project of the ground.

take with a grain of salt. He is still touring with his vodka. Ill be meeting with dan and his crew supposedly in nov.

total BS , dan is getting some home time and could probably care less about GB3 at this point . Hes still collecting from one and two. And its confirmed he will be back on the road this fall, Doubt hes filming for 3 months

Well since the trailer was just released for yogi bear and dan is playing Yogi maybe he is wrapping that up.

I think his role in the Yogi movie was taken care of in a studio where he recorded his lines over a matter of days.

I´m starting to lose any hope about this movie… the guys are getting older and the project seems to never get the green-lit… besides, that BS about Venkman as a ghost, and Black Jack wearing the jumpsuit, don´t make me the happier fan at all.
