Great post man. Anyways, Looks that the present script supports 4 new ghostbusters, one of which being female. Dan once again says they will be shooting in the spring.

Has having free schedules ever been a hold up for this project?
I thought the hold up was always script, script, script.
The script's not good enough yet.
The studio doesn't like the script.

I was really excited about this movie up until a few years ago when I learned they were going to “pass the torch.” Now I'm hoping this movie doesn't happen. Nobody wants to see a new group of Ghostbusters, especially some 20 year old kids. It was Murry, Ackroyd, Ramis, and Hudson that made the movies so awesome.

I think at one time, Ramis said there would be three recruits. I liked that number a little better, since I figured it could help strike a better balance between the old and new Ghostbusters. Maybe send one of the originals out with them to complete the team, while they were being trained.
I just hope the original characters get enough screen time together. They never did that much ghostbusting in the other films, so I'm not too worried about the younger cast doing some of that. Though, I do hope they suit up at least once more.

Dan Aykroyd has already Confirmed on The Ghostbusters 3 Blog and On Protoncharging.com that Ghostbusters 3 will began Filming Next Spring 2011!!! It's been Confirmed because Dan said that he's taking a break from his Vodka Touring because of Ghostbusters 3! See Filming Begans Next Spring in 2011! Check Out those 2 WebSites and you will see!!!

A GB Fan met Dan Aykroyd with his Brother at Dan's Vodka Signings and he asked Dan about Ghostbusters 3 and Dan told them that GB3 will Happen and that Filming will began next Spring 2011 for a Christmas Day release in 2012!!! Dan told them that Bill Murray will be in Ghostbusters 3 along with the 4 Original GB's Bill,Harold,Dan and Ernie! They will Train a new Team to Help them Out!!! It's Happening Finally!!!

I think that the female GB could be introduced with a good nod to the first movie. Remeber when Janine said to Peter that they promised to recruit other people to help her out?
I see this scene in GB3: Peter bring a young girl and introduce her to Janine saying: “Janine….I remember very well we promised you to hire some help. She is your assistant”. you know, like 25 years has never been passed
Maybe later in the movie the three male GB are in danger and the girl help them showing that she is a veru good GB.

4 new ghostbusters one female. Could be grasping at straws but could it be Extreme Ghostbusters team?
